"Country of the Blind" by H. G. Wells Quiz, Analysis Worksheet, and Vocabulary Activities

"The Country of the Blind" is a piece of speculative fiction that explores the conflict between an individual and the collective. A hubristic protagonist anticipates ruling over a community he deems inferior in terms of the way the community perceives the world, but when the larger group makes it impossible for the protagonist to achieve his goal, he must choose between acclimating entirely to a new way of life or stepping away forever.
